History
The first Beret Display and the beret that inspired its creation.
When I completed USAF Pararescue training and received my beret, I spent an exceptional amount of time getting the shape and appearance just right. I remember sitting in my dorm room with a dripping wet beret on my head wondering, “Why isn’t there a kit or template for this?”
As a Pararescueman, when I wasn’t in uniform my beret was stored in my gear locker or on my desk at home. Every time I took off my beret and folded it flat, I hated how it lost the shape I worked so hard to achieve. I always thought, “Why doesn’t a stand exist that will maintain my beret?”
As a Veteran, I wanted to display my beret in a manner that allowed for both preservation and unquestionable recognition. I knew that displaying the beret flat, unrecognizable and inaccessible in a picture frame didn’t allow for this. Taking this into account, I sketched a design and turned to my master-craftsman father Steve to help bring the idea to life. This was the creation of the first Beret Display.
The creation and evolution of Beret Display has been a constant passion project of mine. I’m proud that the once idea is now a functional tool and timeless display that addresses all needs surrounding the military beret. Whether you just earned your beret, wear it daily or are finally ready to showcase you or your loved one’s cherished symbol of achievement, Beret Display provides you the ability to honor the sacrifice, service and traditions that your beret represents.
